Support Information Manager is a state-of-the-art Information Technology management system.
The SIM “engine” was designed to facilitate the integration of modules which will allow users to manage ALL aspects of IT from project management to document control to helpdesk issue tracking all under one easy to manage system.
The first module of is a document management system or knowledgebase. You can use SIM documents to store all of your organizations knowledge and documents in one central location. Creating such a large repository of information will increase productivity by allowing your employees to share critical information eliminating any possible duplication of effort.
The high-speed SIM engine was written in PERL, runs under the Apache web server, and uses the PERL DBI module to interface with a backend relational database system.
